ABOUT MAZZ JONES
Mazz Jones is a bassist, singer, and composer, blending traditional jazz elements with modern influences, delivering hypnotic and emotionally charged musical experiences, captivating audiences everywhere.
Jones has performed around the world and shared the stage with some of the most prestigious jazz names of our time, including Bob Mintzer of the Yellowjackets, to sharing performance evening’s with Grammy Award winners and nominees like Jeff Hamilton, John Daversa, Billy Childs, John Beasley’s Monk’estra, Anthony Wilson to Bill Cunliffe.
Previously under contract with Warner Chappell Music and EMI Music respectively, Jones has written numerous songs that have been licensed for film and television.
In 2017, Jones co-founded the Jazz Republic Concert Series with dear friend and Grammy Award winning trumpeter Bijon Watson, and is the co-founder of the Jazz Republic Performing Arts Foundation.
